Dispelling the Myths of Homeschooling High School

There are many reasons that families often stop homeschooling after children reach middle school. Some of the reasons revolve around the belief that they are not equipped as educators to teach their children at the high school level. How can we teach subjects that surpass our own education level or area of expertise? Some of the reasons revolve around the desire for their children to get into college. What about standardized test scores, AP classes, transcripts, scholarships and UC system a-g requirements? This workshop will dispel some common myths about homeschooling high school and give some practical steps and procedures to insure that you can give your children a high-quality high school education at home and prepare them to pursue whatever calling they may have, including continuing education at the University level.
